sitting here wondering why there is never anything on tv on Friday nights. My boy has got 2 friends over, they about ate me out of house and home a bit ago. Thats alright though, ima put they little arses to work at daylight in the morning.

I normally wait until the last of August to start feeding, that is normally when their horns start getting hard. This year it looks like the horns are hard already so i am gonna start a little earlier.

looks like corn is gonna be alot higher than it was last year.

Normally I wait as well, but decided to put the salt out while we were having good rains, so it would go ahead and dissolve into the ground.

I always put out a couple of those black "cow molasses" barrels too. I fill them with water every week. I have seen a time when a deer would come by and get a drink and not even eat anything. It is normally very dry here until around mid August so they dont have alot of water.
