picked the kid up, flipped her over my head and then sat her back down. everything was fine until i went upright again. shock went all the way through my neck/back/arms, and i couldnt move at all for about 2 minutes...just stood there. couldn't turn my head left or lean back for 3 days. doing better now, just a small amount of pain.

Sounds like a pinched nerve. I can tell you a quick way to diagnose that too.

When you get home, lay flat on the floor with your legs straight out and feet together. Have your wife take one leg (rt or lt) and raise it straight up towards your head. If you scream like a beech, it's a pinched nerve. Make sure to keep your leg straight and rigid while she raises it up towards your head.

the pain is pretty much gone now. i still feel a little uncomfortable laying my head back, but i dont have any problems turning now. i walked crooked for about a week though, it was a badddddd time.
