I broke down and we got a Siena. Mack daddied out with drop tv, etc. Most comfortable drive/seating for all of us. Trunk space is awesome too.
Put a bjj sticker on the back to add toughness. I drive the pathfinder now, which is 3 row, but last row is weak and ride doesn't compare. Van is a v6 too.
I've seen some that are swagger wagons. Just can't do it yet

good morning sweet saints of the zone!

sdv, my sis has a two year old Tahoe, never had any mechanical problems and drives back to Tennessee every other month from Montgomery, but it is having electrical issues with the alarms going off on their own and the doors constantly locking and unlocking. Its been extremely reliable, but has its aggravating moments. I have a 3 yr old f150 king cab 4 wheel drive and its awesome and has plenty of room for my carseat, even when it was rear facing (I love my truck lol)
that sounds like her remote is malfunctioning.

I hate large SUVs. The nerd family will roll exclusively in wagons.

I actually wanted to get a wrx when we had just one kid. Wife was having none of it. Now she's in love with the crosstour by honda.

Rule 5: never buy a new car until the old one is paid for unless life changes like this one SDV had forces your hand

Just go drive a Toyota siena. No need to look at a bunch. Nissan Odyssey looks cooler, but doesn't drive as smoothly

I was thinking about a van last winter and that's the one I zeroed in on after reading all the reviews and driving one. Seemed to have it all. Decided to keep the old lead sleds a bit longer so didn't purchase one. If I looked again, it would still be on the top of the list.

In 2010 tahoe was 4 star expedition 3.5.
The pecking order right now:
Tahoe/suburban
Expedition
Arcadia
Mazda cx-9 (ford base I believe)
Nissan armada (if you're brand loyal)

Thanks DD. I am really open to anything that size. My friends own a Toyota dealership here and I told them what I want. They call me when they get trade ins and can give me a great deal.

If he's really a friend and you're going to get dealer wholesale plus a couple hundred for their trouble then you are golden bro.

He should be able to pull any car from another Toyota lot in your area for maybe 500-1000 if he's got good connections.
