I once took a month of leave while I was in the military. At about the third week I was really, really wanting to get back to work. 5 weeks would be brutal for taking off imo

I'll be busy working on our new place ...but I'm using a week for fishing and beers!

Yeah, I don't know why, but it's a really popular place for trade conferences and the like. Weird. I guess it's easier to convince people to pay the $1500 registration fee if it means a company paid Vegas vacation.

The only reason I convinced my boss to let me go is because he wanted to go, and I get a butt crap load of continuing education credits for it.

Yeah, I have to adjust my sleep schedule to stay awake all night and sleep through the stuff during the day. It only lasts til the early afternoon. They know the real reason everybody came to Vegas.
