Fastest bird in the animal kingdom! I'd have one, but he'd eat Arlo....

There are some huge hawks out here, too, and they're fun to watch. Don't know if you've ever seen it, but they can hold their position in the sky steady with no movement in either direction. It's weird. One flew over our golf cart last year. When I saw the shadow, I jumped out to see what kind of plane it was. True story.

I think I've told this story before, but one day I was walking Arlo and stopped to chat with a friend who had a big orange dog that liked to play-fight with my pooch. We were just chilling and then I looked up and there were some very large birds circling. I thought it odd, and asked my pal (a scientist) what he thought they were spying to eat. He looked at Arlo. Freaked me out!

My wife's chihuahua used to get stalked by a hawk. I wanted that bird to take that little shiat so bad!

Made a 25 on the ACT. Not great, but not terrible. I'm taking it again next month. My GPA is a different story. I'm gonna have to work hard next year. Well, this summer. Getting my diploma online so I can graduate early.

Wow. If you're looking to go next year, you might have to go the comm. college route and matriculate after making some solid grades in your first two years. I didn't do that, but that would be my understanding of the process if you haven't already applied and been accepted to a 4 year. Nothing wrong with that, tho. The diploma will stay say where you graduate from!

It's fully accredited so it'll be just like a senior year of high school. It's gonna take about 6 months. I'm hoping to apply to all the colleges I want to go to around December or January.
