Just finished trimming my arm pit hair. Much better now.

Blow torch works well for that and it cauterizes the ends nicely.

Just be careful and you'll be fine. A childhood friend of mine's grandfather used to burn the hair off his arms with a burning rolled up newspaper. Watching him do that was the highlight of our day.
