I can only claim 1 championship, and that was Lewis Hamilton in 2008 F1 season.

Dammit. Dammit. Dammit. Why can't I be a crappy fan and just support big name, always win teams?

I don't claim 1998 because I really wasn't interested in college football. I don't claim colts in 2006 since I just liked 1 player.

It's just that you root so hard for your team just to get let down. Crappy feeling. Damn Grizzlies.

Why do you feel these particular events define you as a person?

They don't, but I invest a certain amount of pride and energy in supporting my teams. I am a pretty optimistic person covered in a shell of pessimism, once i give way to optimism, and then my team loses, it makes me very sad.

Also I am having a caffeine crash. I just realized Diet Dew is amazing.

Also it sort of makes me wonder why I invest so much time and money as a fan. I have a lot of great times watching the games with friends and family, and that is what is most important. Besides at the end of the day they are all just children's games.

Except for motor racing. That is for adults.

I know. It's fun when our teams win and not so much when they don't. I've invested a more than inordinate amount of time and money in sports teams in the past myself. We have no choices in what happens as they go through their paces. I find myself investing less time than in the past. Creates more time for personal creative things on my part. A wise coach, Jerry Sloan, had a great motto. Give the fans something to cheer about every game. Every. Single. Game. I don't see that happening on a game by game basis for the things I'm interested in over the past few years.

I haven't followed NBA for over 20 years. Followed it this year because of the local team. They're out now, so, I'm out of it, too. They had a great run this year due to low expectations by everyone. Anyway, I've spent some time tonight thinking of old used to be's and it's worn me out. Later. Gotta get some sleep due to human frailties inherent in our poor design.

Yeah. I can sort of see that.

What I really hate is my F1 weekends. Atleast with like basketball, or football I can expect a game every week or more. With F1 the races are every other weekend, for the most part and I wake up at between 4:30-7:00am to watch it live. It really really takes the shine off my day when my driver has a dismall weekend. Podium, I am happy. A win? I will replay that race three times before the day is over and have a smile on my face till Wednesday. A sheet race, I will wonder why I even got out of bed.

But I guess that's whats great. I really must love something if I am willing to haul out of bed on a Sunday to watch it.

I got called out for using nancy. On Facebook. I never knew it was a gay slur. Man do I feel like a real ass.

Back to calling people, jerks, freaks, coons, and Muslims.
