In all seriousness, the whole rust and glass belt is beyond depression. The college schools keep the cities alive. It is really quite sad.

I know. I was just kidding about it being lovely. I lived in Binghamton, NY, where IBM was founded. They eventually shut down all ops there in 2002. Coincidentally, I moved shortly thereafter because a certain blond named Jenny got laid off and I was laying on her a lot at the time. I've seen it.
