Found a great pub in Tampa that I will revisit often. Good German food, deli and beer. The owner was cool and bought me my first beer from his private collection of beers. This guy is a true beer geek. The rules...#1 no frozen mugs. #2 no fruit served in your beer. #3 No bud on tap. #4 no mixing beers. He has 53 taps and over 300 bottle beers. RV got smashed. haha shesofunnywhenshedrunk.

Dunderbaks

I just prefer my beer as cold as possible.

yeah me too. Most Americans do. This guy regulates his tap temperatures within a degree. My kegerator is set at 36 degrees. He serves his at 42 degrees. He also uses nitrogen as a delivery system instead of CO2. CO2 can contaminate when used in large tanks. I use only a 5 lb tank and it is food grade CO2.

Was the beer expensive?

Well I don't have much moral high ground to speak from!

When I am DD I normally don't even have 1 beer, but this was a German Biergarten. I had to try two beers I have never had before. Plus, I have a huge tolerance but would never risk having more that two if driving. 245lbs can absorb the alcohol pretty good.

Not bad. I have seen worse. Actually, 4 of us had apps, dinner (huge portions) and beers. (some more that others-RV) and the bill was $109.00. heck RV and I have done that much damage on our own before.
