Made the mistake of venturing into the politics forum.

Place reminds me of high school, me the lone black liberal surrounded by a bunch of Caucasian conservatives. Do note that race did play a factor, because it just exacerbated how much we didn't see eye to eye on things.

Ugh. I never venture into the politics forum, as I'm sure I would get extremely riled up. People can be so condescending.

Where did you go to high school? Not specifically, just area? I grew up in a rather backwards area with only one minority student at any given time. Thankfully, I was raised to respect everyone and never had a problem.

My American South class has been extremely eye-opening re: race relations and how screwed up this country is in that regard. I told my professor it was depressing me.



Anyway...I need a haircut too. I'm sure yours is handsome.

One of my best friend's daughter attends Webb and they required all students from 4th grade up to have iPads this year. First in the country to do so. It made national news.

I can understand the high school, but a 4th grader?
