Nope, from scratch. I am so excited! I am wanting the all weather carpet, and plan on fully landscaping the back. I went to a local sawmill and bought 6x6 (literally some of the biggest beams I have ever seen) cedar beams for the posts and supports, I have 2x6's and 2x8's for the floor and ceiling joists. I fully plan on this porch being here for 100 years lol. Also going with 29 gauge roofing panels connected to my exhisting roof with a custom bent endwall flashing with custom rolled to length guttering :dance:

Please do. Trace Atkins house right down the road. Watched it burn. Terrible fire.

The deck is old, and I don't think has proper support. Would like a larger one with more space, plus a 2nd tier of some sort, maybe for the grill. Maybe even try to find a way to put a hot tub on the top. Problem is that its a slanted lot and the deck is on the top floor.
