I strongly considered joining the air force for a while. Flying jets seems like it would be one of the most fun activities on earth.

It will definitely give you a chub. I have flown in a F/A18 a few times and it is definitely something I would recommend to everyone to do at least once in their lifetime.

Involved in what? Taking a joyride or having a career in military aviation? If it is the latter, I would suggest speaking with your advisor at school who could probably point you in the right direction.

1st option wont happen unless you are a squadron or know someone. And even then it is a rare opportunity.

We'll have fried salmon for dinner sometimes and I won't bring leftovers to work for that very reason.
