Sometimes. Depends on how fast (activity) the other threads are being hit. Endzone and others scroll off the first page fast sometimes.

Looks like I might be wrong. I used to be able to catch some of them with new posts. Just tried and none showed up. Pub came up fine on new posts, though. May be filtered in some way.

Possum, on Saturday night my house smelled terrible. I tried to figure out where it was coming from. I opened my basement door and it hit me. I went around trying to find the source of the smell but couldn't. I decided to get on my belly and crawl into the crawl space under my house. It was there I found a rotten and decomposing 15 pound possum. It was moving from all the maggots inside of it. I had that thing in my face as I stuffed it into a garbage bag. Prob the most disgusting and foul-smelling thing I have ever encountered. I couldn't figure out how it got in, until I found a huge hole where it had tunnelled into my crawlspace from outside. That ****er came in, died, and when the weather turned warm released it's disgusting odors.

What you think about that?

It was about all I could stand to do that night. The next day I had to get back in there and clean up all the **** it left behind. I cleared out the dirt it was laying on, and then spayed the rest of the place with clorox. My house smells normal now.

Damn, that's nasty.

I try to block the entry way to my crawl space door with bricks to keep any animals out. If they get past that then they get to contend with glue traps. I've found mainly moles and voles stuck to them. I saw a vole and thought it was a rat. Ugly looking thing, but I looked it up and it was a vole.

The glue traps wouldn't stop anything large, but nothing large is going to get under a 1/2" gap.

That tunneling is alarming though. I had a skunk trying to tunnel under my deck once. It doesn't sit high off the ground and is bordered with stone except the trap door to get under it. So I placed a large rock on the other side. He decided to go somewhere else thankfully.

I didn't think possums could tunnel. I've seen a groundhog near my house before, so I wonder if it dug the hole and the possum used it.

It's a big ass hole that goes pretty deep in order to get underneath my foundation. The house was built in the early 1900s, so it's not completely encased in cement. Of course I'll fill the holes, but I want to keep this from happening again... I'm going to call a pest control service to see what they can offer.
