Not really. We analyze soil, water and air for contaminants.
We do microbiology on drinking water and non-potable water. This really amped up my germaphobia once I grew bacteria and can now identify the distinct odor of it. Just smell your sponge in the kitchen and you'll know what I mean.:ermm:

Nuke it in the microwave. Does that actually work?

negative. To actually kill the bacteria it must be autoclaved. Meaning, heated under pressure for 15 minutes. Bleach or ethyl alcohol is effective too.

Not bad. Life is good. Played golf yesterday and now a cold front is moving in. Spending this morning trying to get some liquids back in my body. Got some kind of bug yesterday that tore me up last night. You have the warm weather there like most others in the south?
