How old? My first real guitar was this one. '69 Gibson Melody Maker. I bought it and an amp from a fried for $100. I've seen these go for up to $2000.

Yeah, I went most of today without a boot. It wasn't horrible but at times I was def ready to get off my feet.

I started working my way out after 3 weeks but having the other foot done put alot of strain on the first foot. Dr said Im a good month away from feeling good on my feet.

Don't know what kind of free time you have, but if any, go to you tube. They have some easy and basic lessons there. Chords, etc. I've owned two in the past and they were fun. You can play some good fiddle tunes on them. They are tuned exactly like a fiddle and have the same chords.
