At 20 yds I was proud just to get it in the black. If I tried to double tap I would probably miss completely. I was taking about 3 seconds between rounds.

Easy. Everyone has priorities on where they spend their cash. I remember a friend of mine in the early 80's spending $10,000 on a fantastic home stereo system. I questioned his sanity. His reply, it's not nearly as much as you spend on Vettes. So, yeah. Priorities.

Haha, I guess. What would you even use that scope and rifle for, though? It just doesn't seem practical, but I'm sure people have said the same about me many times. That .308 was so loud. I didn't have ear pro at first and I was like, I can't handle this. I made a run to the store. Pistols don't bother me.

There was a kid there shooting an M14. Boy, that thing was sweet.

I love shooting. And I love the smell. I do not, however, love the price of ammo. If I was to rob any store, it would be an ammo store*.

*disclaimer: I probably would never rob a store.

VV, what is a good .22 pistol? I am saving up, and just going to splurge and buy two at once. A good quality, decently priced .22 and a very nice Sig, HK, Beretta, or Colt 1911. Then I'll never buy another gun.
