This was all part of his "cost saving plan". Forced vacation time for people with 100 hours or more accrual of vacation time. I have to have taken a total of 80 hours of vacation by the end of February. Plus another day to make up for me working today.:banghead2:

That doesn't make sense. I could understand if the vacation was unpaid but he's paying you the same amount of money not to work. So payroll will be the same but production will be lower. The only way that would work is if the entire office closed and you saved overhead costs.

Weird setup that the vacation time has already been paid for by the company and they don't get credit for it until you take the time off. I don't understand it. I just do what the boss man wants.

That makes a little more sense. Surprised they just dont say after a certain number of days you can't roll your time over to the next year. Seems more fair to me.

I think the limit to rollover to the next year is 120 hours. However I have had 3 separate vacation request denied so I was up over 240 hours. I'd sue dat azz if they try and take that away. I have all the documentation to prove my side. beyatches.:thumbsup:
