We have 1.3 acres so it just wasn't feasible to put in an above ground fence in.

I have dogs that stay in all the time, but all it takes is for the garage door to be open for one minute too long while bringing in groceries, etc. and they dart outside to explore. They always come back within a minute, but if they were run over in that one minute, I'd be devastated. Newt is devastated.
