Glad you had fun! Work was crazy for me yesterday but afterwards, me and my bestie went to dinner at Altruda's and had a great time. Best Italian in Knoxville btw.

We were talking last night...we've been through a lot together. Technically, we've only known each other for 12 years, but they have been significant years. I was there when her Grandfather died, she rode in the car with Dad and I when my Mom was laid to rest. We've been there for major breakups and job changes.

We also have fought like siblings. Our worst fight was just this last year. I honestly thought it was "the big one" and that after 6 months of not speaking, we'd never speak again. Obviously, that didn't happen.

I'm glad you have someone like that. My best friend and I drift apart too often.

Years of faithful patronage have resulted in the owner always greeting me. We chit chat and he has even had things made special for me. The assistant manager/server Dan hugs both my BFF and I every time we visit. He took great care of us last night and is super fun. We closed the place down with conversation and laughs. The atmosphere is awesome and the food is so incredibly yummy.

Antica Pesa is really good. Maybe you can try it sometime. Hate to leave when everyone is beginning to show up but I have to be somewhere early (for me anyway) in the morning. Night all.

I am too. When all is said and done, she'll always be the person who was right by my side when Mom died. That was the worst thing that has ever happened to me and she was there like a champ.

Doesn't mean that sometimes I just want nothing more than to smack her silly...:crazy:

My BFF from middle and high school and I drifted apart. I thought we would always be tight, but sometimes it just happens. She went to ETSU btw. We keep in touch on FB now but that's all. Kinda sad.

Is your best friend from high school?

Yup, he was there for me during the lowest of lows. I hope we don't drift apart. We've had some great times, no big fights really. Just a couple smallish ones.
