Hey Nerd, thoughts on Beretta moving to Risi?
First I heard of it. It is a loss to the corvette team. Guy is seriously good, but for me I feel like there are a lot of drivers you can slot in with the right amount of money. I feel like the qualities which make a decent endurance racer can be found in a lot of top level drivers, consistency, pace and mechanical sympathy.
Where is Jacques V.? I am sure he could use a drive
Not really and not really.
Many top drivers struggle in endurance racing because they havent got the patience and vice versa. it happens sometimes but too often they under achieve.
I think Westbrook or Garcia should take Berettas full season seat.
Jacques v can go dig himself a hole and stay in it. #twat
I will take your word for it. You know a lot more about endurance racing than I do. How much do the top drivers earn?
F1 drivers Lotus Renault and upwards earn 1 mill plus. Below that they earn little or pay to drive.
The majority of drivers in motorsport pay to drive. Unless they driver for a factory team (mostly, Aston don't pay all their drivers) or they drive for a very successful privateer team.

It's such a rich mans sport. Talent will only take you so far in racing. Gotta have money to bring with you.
That's the thing that sorta sucks about racing. The high entry cost means that the drivers out there may not be best in the world. In the NBA we know they are the best because just about everyone in the usa who wants to try the sport can give it a go, and find out if they are any good. Can't really do that in racing. Even a very cheap kart still costs a decent sum of loot.
