I have paid for league pass 4 years in a row. The last 3 years they have blacked out 98% of grizzlies games here in Chattanooga, so I turn to my foxy ports channel- and it's the hawks game.... It's impossible to get the grizzlies game in Chattanooga atleast through Comcast.... So ****ing annoying

Me on my birthday back in october with my first Vols hat, Jersey and t shirt.... IMAG0010.jpg

This is next one is me tapping my makeshift give my all sign that is on the exit to my bedroom. Can't afford to import a real one so it's the next best thing! :)

Vols give my all sign jpeg.jpg

Enjoy! Who said Vols fans abroad can't be just as dedicated? :good!:

Cool pics Stephen. That is not what makes you a "real" fan tho.

I kid, I kid.

How did you come to like UT, Steph?

It's fine, I will post it again... I get asked on average once a week by someone on here so I have become quite good at typing it up.

I have been an NFL fan since I watched the 2005 superbowl.

Since about 2007 I became aware of college football but had no way of watching it until 2009.. Even then I only watched the odd game and didn't really take to it, I didn't understand the conference system, there was too many teams, too many bowl games..

Although this year I decided that I was going to watch the college season all the way through and hopefully find a team to follow.

I was then at a Wedding in July, and there was a group of Americans there... Two of them were crazy about US sport so i spent the whole day and night talking to them because it was a rare oppourtunity for me to be able to discuss US sports face to face with anyone... It so happens one of them went to UT and was a massive vols fan, after I mentioned that I was going to get into it this year he convinced me to research and watch some vols games on the sec websites because he said "The Vols are a great team, there is a lot of tradition down there."

So I watched the Vols vs Kentucky game from last year and fell in love... I then searched for a forum which I could use to learn more about them, found vol nation and never looked back! Ta dah! :hi:

Glad to have you here Stephen.

My "real" fan comment was just a VN joke. It, itself is a joke. You will understand soon enough.

I know it was a joke.... :p I may be gullable and stupid sometimes but I have come to learn whats light hearted and what isn't on this site...
