Yep. Arlo gets the ladies. Hahaha. He has four distinct colors which is rare for a Pap. He's my baby dog.
Nephew Pooch just turned one. He lives is California with his Mom/ my sister and his Dad. He is extremely bright and smiles at everyone; a great little dude. He's my baby boy.
I'm really curious about the last sentence. What did you expect me to look like? Thanks for saying I'm cute. :blush2:
I haven't seen many Papillons in real life so I always thought they were more tiny. He has a great face and such expressive eyes. I'm sure everyone makes over him! Does he like swimming or did you just toss him in the pool/lake?
Nephew Pooch is a doll. I'm sure you wish he lived closer so you could see him more. I love happy little babies who grin and are friendly.
I would think that all of us on here have this image of what the other posters look like. OE looked nothing like I pictured him either. I pictured him with dark hair and more lanky. As for you, I'm not really sure what all I pictured. I think I had you pegged for more of a frat boy with blonde hair. And shorter. You look taller than I expected. lol How tall are you?
He doesn't mind swimming, as he is not a timid little dog at all, he is very outgoing and crazy-friendly, but it's not his favorite activity. When I let him go in my cousin's pool, he makes a beeline for the stairs. I have to carry him in to the water, if it's a pool. Now, if we're hiking with Dad and Arlo gets thirsty, he will get right in the river and swim around. Pretty funny to watch because he'll howl while he's swimming if he sees people watching him, the nerd dog.
Nephew Pooch is the sweetest child I have ever been around. My sister is a Nurse Practitioner who also has a masters in social work, as well as time spent working with children when she was in college. His Dad is a physicist, so Little B will grow up in a great environment with very knowledgeable and intelligent parents to guide him. I'm really glad he's such a sweet kid, because he will undoubtedly be smarter than the other kids, growing up...
I'm only 5'11". I gave up the frat thing years ago. Although I went thru initiation and was a brother, I didn't really buy in to the whole thing. Small college = limited social opps.
What kind of dogs do you have?
Yeah. You can already tell just being around him. He was a preemie (34 weeks) but was already walking right after his real 1st birthday. They were worried about developmental issues with the short term, but he is doing so well. He's just not the biggest boy. No matter though, because he is the sweetest and brightest!
Initiation was hell. I was my pledge class president. I got it worse than anyone had in a long time, supposedly. That's all I'll say about that....
I have 2 pups, one Yorkie named Colby and a Yorkipoo named Peyton. I just added a pic of them to my profile. Colby is on the top; Peyton is on the bottom.
My niece and nephew (twins) were born prematurely as well. Unfortunately, they were a little behind for their 3rd and 4th year. Now that they've turned 5, the girl is completely caught up and is sharp as a tack. She'll be a handful. The boy is extremely shy and doesn't like to put the effort into doing things. Instead of trying to figure something out, he'll just give up. It's a little frustrating. That's great that your nephew is doing so well! His natural brightness, coupled with the awesome nurturing and guidance of smart parents, all but guarantees it.
