Have you heard of the Hale Springs Inn?
I think that is going to be my mom's birthday present.
Toured it many times. Capital of the US for one night cause the prez stayed there and had the mail forwarded, so the story goes. Union headquarters them confederate headquarters were across the street.
Glad its still open.
Other Rogersville attractions. Davy Crockett grandparents buried there. Ebbing Flowing Spring, 1 of 2 springs in the world that rise and fall with the tides. Courthouse one of the few antebellum corroded still in use.

Sweet. Sounds like a neat place. I, unfortunately, don't think I can go. The rooms only have a king bed.
