Yep, thats me. I mean of course I like money, but I would much prefer a rewarding career where I'm contributing to helping others however small my impact may be.

It's really difficult to not like your choice. Or, impossible. If that's your heartfelt ambition, I would stay the course. Everything else will work out and fall in place. For a fact, the more you make, the more you spend. Usually on useless things.

Yep, that is something I've learned. No matter how much money you have, you always find something to spend it on. I just feel the need to do something that will reward me in other ways.

not sure yet. haven't decided how much money im looking to spend. plus i still wanna get a gun.

New or used? I personally would spend $200 on a used set, in good condition, of proven game changing Pings before I'd spend $3-400 on some of the clubs out there right now. I see Ping I3 and I3 O size on the net for $150-250 every week. They are very hard to beat. Easy to hit, nice high trajectory, great distance, will almost eliminate hooks and slices...smooth clubs. Long gun/short gun?

You'll never be happier if your work is something you like or love. You will not regret the time spent as some do. Great stress reliever up front is to love your work.

I agree!! Setting this goal for myself and meeting it will make me feel very happy :)
Doing something I enjoy and actually want to do is definatly the part that'll make it all worthwhile.

I have 2 prospective goals...teaching or social work..leaning more toward teaching.

Sup Tina

Those are great choices. My ex is a teacher and loves it. She takes her job seriously and is rewarded for it by her students

Hey CK

I love working with people, especially children. I always adored my teachers (most of em anyway..lol) and aways knew its what I really wanted to do.

Would also be very pleased to go into social work, knowing I can make a difference or positive impact on someones life is where its at for me :)

what else do you hate

You're on the list.

Along with tubers, sandwich bread, people you can't depend on, moody women, pretty girls who are stupid or have a pancake ass, contacts drying out, homework, Chris Berman, and the piece to flip flops that fits between your toes that always breaks on me.

I would never buy new irons. Technology that's around today has been around for 10 or so years. Drivers are a different subject.

I can highly recommend the following sites as to good pricing and accurate condition assessment of their used products. With each, if they say excellent, the product may actually be new. Very good is going to be in great condition.

Used Golf Clubs, Golf Discount Pre-Owned Equipment - GlobalGolf Sale
Used Golf Clubs and Discount Golf Equipment from 3balls.com
Used Golf Clubs, Pre-Owned Drivers, Irons, Putters, Wedges: Callaway Golf Pre-Owned

I think the tough part to being a social worker would be accepting that you can't make a difference for everyone. They have to accept a lot of disappointment with their clients/patients.

Yea, that would definatly be the hardest part, I would feel like I failed them. People say you learn to separate yourself from it, but there's no way I could go home without feeling as tho I coulda done more. The rewards I'm sure would be many, but I don't know that I could let myself be ok with the cases that turned out bad. That's the #1 thing that leads me more toward teaching.

That is definitely something to consider. Some cases will without a doubt go bad. You can't take all bad outcomes personally. It would drive you nuts.

Yea, and that's exactly what would happen. It does interest me a great deal and I hate to decide against it without giving it fair consideration and looking into it a little more. But I'll have some time to decide, but unless something changes I believe teaching it will be.

Night indy

Tina, i wish you luck with your career choice. Both are very respectable choices. I'm sure you will do great either way.

Night folks. I'm out too. Got stuff to do. Tomorrow. Sometime. I'll figure it out after coffee. Chase your dreams, Tina, until they become your realities.

Night CK, Newt, whoever else is wandering around. Later.
