So, we had a weekend trip planned for the homestead for new years. We checked prices today and it has gone up $600 per night. Think we are heading to DC instead haha.

OK. A few words from an old guy. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. The shortest distance between two points is still a straight line, as far as I know. No Face Book, My Space, no Twitter or any other social media. Those are only diversions to feel out a situation to try to form a plan of action. IMO, it's crap.

It's nice to get a warm fuzzy feeling up front sometimes, but trying to go back and forth on that stuff would be like trying to decipher post on a message board.

IMO, you just need to walk us, say Hi and start a conversation that leads to you asking her out. Movie, lunch, coffee, whatever. It's a 50/50 prop. Yes or no. Then, you have your answer. And you can either move forward from that or move on from it. But, at least, you'll know. Up front and in person. If you don't, you'll never know and always wonder.

I was at my best in the late 70's and 80's. With a little help from my friends, (mind expanding stuff) I could do the music and lyrics at the drop of a hat. Might still could, just don't try it.

I feel like I am. I have a little soreness and fatigue in my feet but its to be expected. Im planning on going back to work( a couple hrs a day) after Christmas.

How are things out your way?

Not bad. Been a good year. Just waiting, and hoping, for a huge snow fall to top of this year. Good to see that you're doing so well. I'd guess that you're getting a little stir crazy after all of the surgerys and and being cooped up somewhat.

Yes sir... I've had Chance at home with me the last 2 weeks so he's kept me a little busy. Still tired of being here 95% of the time. I would love some snow as well. We don't get it often so I don't mind the hassles that sometimes come along with it.

Yeah, I'd think it's pretty rare that you get much. 'Course, it's a common thing here. We have some good coverage in the mountains and passes. Still have a bit in my yard right now. We have some in the forecast for Christmas Eve. Probably won't get much. It would be great for the kids.

I can only remember snow at christmas twice. Both just a little more than a dusting. Still beautiful though. Most of our snow comes in late Jan- early march if we get any.
