Casting is something that intrigues me. I'd love to know how it works, how they come up with the list of people they want to try out or whatever.

They don't always get their first choices and the second choice ends up being the best. Didn't explain that clearly but you'll understand it. Robert Redford was said to have turned down the Graduate. I can't imagine anyone but Dustin Hoffman doing that role. Tom Selleck was the first pick for Raiders of the Lost Ark, John Travolta was the choice for Forrest Gump, lot more I can't think of right now.

Absolutely. That's why so many of the remakes nowadays don't interest me.

Speaking of which...we were talking today about The Princess Bride and what an amazing movie it was.

Have you seen it Sly? Newt?

Have not seen, TVG. Haven't seen many movies the past 5 years or so, actually.

That's what I'm saying. I don't understand how some of the people are chosen because the people that fell into the role played it to perfection and I could never see the original person being capable of that.

Hey Indy! You still taking finals? UT finished last week.

hey there. yeah i have my last one tomorrow then i am home for the holidays.

Newt hasn't seen the Princess Bride? what is wrong with him?

on another note, did anyone see the dispute i had with lawvol a month or so back about the reputation of the institution i attend?

It's actually over 20 years old, which scares me because it makes me feel old!

It's a modern day classic for sure.

Just read a quick note on it. Might have to view someday. Looks interesting. Have you ever seen The 10th Kingdom?

It's very interesting...humor, swashbuckling sword fights, romance, action...total package.

I have not...

So suck on that, prick.

im trying to remember how my favorite quote from that movie goes.... i think it's:

"I'm not a witch! I'm your wife!"

You'll love this!

Today at work, a bunch of us ordered Jimmy Johns for delivery at the same time. I became Princess Buttercup, other people put Fizzick, Dread Pirate Roberts and Inigo Montoya. In the comment space, we all put "Inconceivable!" and "Inigo" added "...and please don't kill my father."

Jimmy John's people loved it and wrote on one of the bags...
"I'm not a witch, I'm your wife!"

It was great!
