Oh no! No gift cards for me! I take great pride in selecting the perfect gift. I'll visit every store in town if necessary. I put a lot of thought into gifts and enjoy watching people open them,

Also, no gift bags if at all possible. I wrap gorgeous presents.

With girlfriends I always seem to choose the perfect gift. I take pride in it, too. I don't buy presents for friends, maybe a spur of the moment thing occasionally or take them out to dinner. It's definitely something good to be good at. I can't wrap worth a sheet, though.

I agree that thoughtful gift-giving is a dying art. Glad you enjoy making it special as well.

My Mom was a perfectionist when it came to wrapping presents so I learned from the best at a young age. I miss wrapping with her...one of my favorite Christmas activities.

I've just never really taken the time to learn. I remember buying my first gift for a girlfriend and my mom made me wrap it. I guess it's the thought that counts, but both of them had a good laugh at how that box ended up.
