I know it's pretty lame and even controversial. But I really liked the fact that he is the first black person to race at that level.

Growing up a black person who loves motorsport, getting a chance to cheer for a black driver was something I never imagined I would have a chance to do. Not that I don't pull for drivers of other ethnic backgrounds.

Beyond that, I am a fan of his all out driving style. He is always going to fight for position.

The avatar was a gift from someone whose agenda seems to have been to make me look gay more and more. I just haven't found a new one yet. I'm cool with gays, too.

Thats not lame or controversial IMO. You have every right to support him on that basis....

My parents knew he would make it from the start.

I have a autographed program and results sheet of his victory in the Champions of the future event when he was about 10 I think at My Grandads circuit. Which my Dad got signed after he stepped off the podium. From then on, we knew he would be something special. Back then, he was just head and shoulders above everyone else.
