FWIW.

One of my "life's regrets" is not continuing my lessons of one of my greatest passions. If you really want to learn how to play and have a passion for it, don't let it slip past you.

Not telling what to do, just thinking out loud.

Not really passionate about it, but it would be really nice to learn how to play. I think it is something I could be good at if I applied myself.

I guess you do get out what you put in. The left hand looks so complex. I have quick hands and a good memory; it just seems like I still would never be able to haha. I hope to start within a few years.

Once the basics are down, it's repetition. All it is. I used to have a few beers and play every night. At least a couple of hours. Something happened and I haven't touched any of my guitars more than a dozen times in the past 5 years. I can't play crap now, but if I got back into it, it would all come back very quickly with the repetition. May be time to put the skeletons back in the closet and start playing regularly again.

Funny come back an employee gave me one time. She looked to be about 12 months pregnant at the time. But, she had a month to go. I told her one day that I had heard that if she went out, ate some Chinese food and drank a lot of liquor that would make the baby come out faster. She responded, Pretty sure that's how I got this way.
