Beech can't climb a flight of stairs but, I bet she can climb the fork outta of a tree can't she Gus?

Hey Tex. You know what is long, hard and full of semen?

I had a bullseye once.

I'd like to learn, it's just intimidating.

When you start, you could be doing that in a few years. If you take lessons and study music. I was always too lazy.

Example-I got a good friend's son interested in guitar when he was 10. I loaned him my Strat and paid for the first month's lesson's. 6 months later, he's playing Hendrix note for note. But, he took the lessons, learned how to read music and practiced 3 hours a day.

I guess you do get out what you put in. The left hand looks so complex. I have quick hands and a good memory; it just seems like I still would never be able to haha. I hope to start within a few years.

FWIW.

One of my "life's regrets" is not continuing my lessons of one of my greatest passions. If you really want to learn how to play and have a passion for it, don't let it slip past you.

Not telling what to do, just thinking out loud.

My roommate is the new drummer for a Tri-Cities band called A Great Disaster. Where he's new and doesn't have all the songs down yet, he isn't able to really show off his talent. He's just back there keeping time, but he is insanely good.

Their guitarist was awesome, and had a crazy bass solo that sounded great.

The violinist/fiddler is the sweetest girl and super talented herself. It's a great addition to the band.

The lead vocal guy is an awesome writer and has a good enough voice to be successful.

The piano player is a prick, but I admit he is talented. Just doesn't look like he belongs in a band.

The back up/harmony singer is beautiful and has a good voice. Wish they'd give her more freedom.

The odds of them being successful are really low, but they do have a lot of talent. Sort of a newly formed band, so just going to get better with practice. When they play a gig in Knoxville, it'd be awesome to see some of you there. I'm sure I'll tag along.
