Thank you, he's a good dog. Yes, I live about 2.5 miles from Ft. Myers Beach. I don't take him there much anymore for a bunch of reasons, but the main one is he drinks the salt water and craps all over the Jeep on the way home. He has more fun, and I do too, at the pool.

I can cook. I'm cooking dinner for a friend tonight, although I can't cook for you, what would you like? You might give me an idea for tonight that I can give you partial credit for.

Oh my. I love the beach. Absolutely love it. I'm incredibly jealous right now.

I could see that as a reason why you wouldn't take him often. :crazy: He looks like a great boy. Does he sleep with you?

Hmmmm.....what about some shrimp scampi, possibly with couscous or a baked potato? Yummy salad, delicious bread...

Now I'm hungry

Not ridiculous at all, imho, fwiw, jsyk,...... I'm sure it was "good", cheaper and took way less time to prepare.

Only have four right now, which seems to be four too many if I don't pick one of them up soon. I would think it's easier to learn on an electric. They have smaller necks and are easier to bridge for that reason. Also, much less string tension which means less pressure on the hands/fingers when fingering or chording. The sounds are going to be cleaner when you start with an electric. Not as much buzzing and frustration. If you decide to actually start, get quality equipment. Doesn't have to be expensive, just good solid quality. I would say many have given up due to trying to play cheap guitars, etc.

Yes he does.

How could the beach not be all it's cracked up to be? I love it and find it so relaxing. Nothing clears my head like lying on the beach, under an umbrella, watching the waves crash.

I've been craving couscous lately. Why, I have no idea.

I dunno how far Ft Myers is from Perdido Keys, but next time I'm down that way...I'm taking behr out for dinner and dancing(depending on how drunk he gets me).

Thought the same thing TNV, until I lived on it 5 years and within a bike ride from it for 9'ish. You still have work and all the responsibilities you have now and the beach becomes less and less important.

Couscous with shiitake mushrooms will be served tonight, with a "Henducken" Thanks.

I guess I could understand that, but I would still love the sights and sounds as a stress reliever. Especially a beach as beautiful as Ft. Myers...white sand...blue water...

Maybe you would be different, but sometimes I get stressed wanting to be there and knowing I can't.

Can you go to the beach right now? Me either and I can smell it.
