I always ran with the kids my age, but took heed to the adults around me. I used to go next door to our neighbor's house and listen to him talk for hours about how it was back at the turn of the century. Amazing stuff.

My dog loves popcorn. When I eat popcorn she always wants some. I am nervous that once she figures out where I hide it she will start popping her own!

That's what I miss about my granny, great grandparents, aunts and uncles.

I listen to old black men and Sly.

I listen to old black men because if you are a black man and managed to survive to be old you must be doing something right.

I listen to Sly because he has proven to be a genuinely thoughtful and interesting man, whose insight is similar to a fine single malt scotch, the more you sit and ponder the better it gets.
