Are we talking about scrapbooking and quilting? This has turned into an old lady thread!

It's hard to get the $$ out of them
Anymore. Ur looking at 50 for material plus time plus 75+ for the quilting. With the economy and "style" being what it is. You could maybe get $250 outta one if it was the right place/time.

That thing better have a glory hole in it for that much $$$.

Uh...NO! lol I can't even watch that for a minute. But making jewelry is kinda fun. Just lost interest.

Hey! You guys post pics of half-naked ladies so I don't think you can call it old lady

I have never posted pics of half naked ladies. I know not what you mean. But if I did, that would be awesome.

I could see that now. When Mom was making them (30 years ago), people in Pigeon Forge were selling them for $100-150 each. And, most of them were polyester. I never got the polyester quilt thing.

Maybe this will renew your interest. I know a fellow in Blacksburg, VA that makes about $1 mil a year buying stones and castings from JTV, putting them together and selling in the DC area.

Depends on where youre selling, if you commission the mennonites you may get 500 + but one that small (twin size) maybe 150. I have 24 in the ma tr erial, and will hand quilt it myself so it would still be good money for me. But I dont figure in my time

What?!?!?! You have got to be kidding me. That's awesome! Although, I'm sure Washington has a lot more buyers willing to shell out the big bucks than Knoxville does. I tried etsy for a bit but so many people sell there it's hard to get noticed.
