What are you doing at your grandma's?

My dad or one of his 2 brothers stay with my grandparents every night. My pap gets up at least twice and needs help getting back in bed and sometimes is confused, belligerent or just wants to sit up so instead of one them staying 3 nights each week I'm picking up the 3rd night n they stay 2 nights each.

Oh, I gotcha. I just wasn't thinking. My parents would get my grandmother out of hospice care occasionally just so she could be home a few more times. It was hard on them moving her around, but it probably meant a lot to my mamaw.

Ugh, I hate nursing homes. It just spells the end, and often cuts off their will. I feel like I grew up in one. My mom was a nurse, so we were always checking in on family. But I've been there before, kat. It can be pretty rough on a family.
