If I had half the fishing brain he did I would be one hell of a fisherman. He was a cocky sob when I met him, but it wasn't in a bad way. He has all the right to be too.

If anybody gets a pass on being cocky, it's him.

Have you met Ray Scott? I met him once at a celebrity pro-am weigh in at Opry Mills. He was great. He took the time to ask how and where I liked to fish. He certainly didn't have to. We ended up talking for 30 minutes. A real gentleman.
