Don't let anyone fool you. Those are some good clubs. Buddy I play with plays Pings like I do. He just bought a few of their woods. Highly rated, IMO. If you been playing with a bunch of old irons that belonged to someone else, you should see a marked improvement in your game. Now, all you need is a good putter. I ordered a new one last night. Anxious for it to get here.

My old irons were blades and I couldn't hit them at all. I love how these are gripped. I need me a good driver too. I wish I could post a picture of my putter. You probably had one just like it. In 1920.

You should see a very noticeable difference in shot dispersion the first time you use them. If it's a blade putter, then yes. I use a mallet style now and it is a big improvement for me. Especially on slow greens. Good driver makes all the difference in the world. With my new driver, I'm hitting irons on my second shot where I was hitting woods before.

When you're ready to buy a new putter and driver, let me know. I'll find you really good ones at good deals. Probably $50 for a good putter and $100 for a great driver.

The putter I bough last night is selling for $150. I paid $40. My driver was selling for $250, last year's model. I paid $95.

Sounds good, Sly. Season is done, but maybe I could get it cheaper in the winter? If not I'll hit you up springtime.

And that seriously is what my putter looks like.
