Me? In my golden years? Why would I run when I have Cadillac power? I'd guess 4 months...maybe. I would like to ride a horse cross country.

I can't even really wrap my head around it. If you ran, let's say, 100 miles a day, 6 days a week. That's.....2400 miles a month. So if you are going from Savannah, Georgia to Long Beach, California, that is 2400 miles. Wow, that worked out perfectly. Crazy.

I was thinking he is a pilot. Wasn't sure. Had a friend in Cali who was a pilot. He was ex Air Force. He flew people up for sky dives.

You've jumped out of a plane? I'm dying to.

I met a helicopter pilot from Vietnam last night. Second one I've become acquainted with. First was a character. This guy was so easygoing. Most pilots are alike, though.

The best jockeys, IMO, are the ones that fly the AF cargo planes. You should see the maneuvers they perform taking off and landing out here at Hill AFB. It's unreal.

I read a book called Flanagan's run. Sort of about this. A great read if you ever have time for some fiction. It is funny and entertaining.

You wouldn't imagine a cargo plane pilot being the best pilot.

What is at Hill? Isn't there some crazy stuff in the mountains out there?

Crazy in what way? These guys do such tight pin point turns to get into Hill, it's unreal. The runways run North/South. They'll take off and go into a tight turn to the East to escape the mountains that are only 5 miles or so away. They make the turns as sharply, in some instances, as the fighter jets do when they take off.

top secret/classified stuff. I don't really know haha.

Take a look at this. It is pretty crazy. I'd like to see what you are talking about, though.

This is wild. Look at how much he throttles back because of how short the runway is.

And I've always thought this was really cool.

I've seen both of those vids before. Pretty awesome. Yeah, there is secret crap out here that I have no clue about. There are things that I can see at Hill that don't show up on a Google map. West of here is a testing range run by the AF. See some really strange lights and unusual maneuvers at night sometimes.

I've read a few things that were somewhat educated speculation. It really is a scary thought. People seem to be awfully naive when it comes to our govt/military. I would love to be in a position where I would know those types of things. But with that type of knowledge comes danger haha.

By testing range you mean...? I read a book about an area that was used as a blasting range. Fighters would make passes and drop ordinance and practice.

This "testing range" is supposed to be development of military aircraft. I've seen lights at night, as have others, where they seem to take off normally and then take off at angles upwards that aren't normal. Hovering and launching skyward at tremendous speeds, etc. They have a bomb range south of here in the desert where they do practice runs with live ammo and other ordinance. If you Google Toole on the Google map, it's in that area.

That sounds like pretty crazy stuff. I've always been interested in stuff like that. There's no telling what goes on.

Do you think this is what a lot of UFO sighting comes from?
