How are your grades so far? Was it money, GPA or ACT that kept you from going to UT?

It definitely wasn't money, my act was a 20 and my gpa was a 2.98, but I had a 3.0 college gpa already. I didn't apply because I didn't think I would get accepted. I think if I have a 3.0 by the end of this year I would be able to transfer easily.

The 20 woulda been the killer, I think.
Good luck, Leben!

Yeah there average was like a 26. They would have weighted my gpa and it would have actually been pretty good. I'm just not sure I should do it or not. What if I get up there and think its to big and I'm sure its a lot easier to get distracted there.

You seem pretty well grounded. I'd be surprised if you started acting like an idiot at this point in your college career.

I guess so I mean I'm determined to graduate. It would be much easier if I could transfer after winter break but I believe I would have to apply before I received my grades from this semester.

I live in Sevier County, but my friends and I have reserved a cabin in Gatlinburg for the first weekend in November. We're all spread out all over the country and we always have at least one event a year that brings us all together. It's gonna be epic tits.

My midterm grades:

Intro to Public Speaking(3 hrs) B

CRJ Transitions(1 hr) P

Intro to Criminal Justice(3 hrs) C

Developmental Mathematics(3 hrs) A

Intro to Sociology(3 hrs) C

Transitions(1 hr) A

Backpacking and Outdoor Living(1 hr) starts next week, I'll get an A in there

Both of my classes I have C's in at the moment are after just one test in each class.
