do you always just talk out your ass about stuff you don't really know about? my step dad looked it up over the summer, and there are a number of past CIA directors that were English majors. i don't think you fully understand the concept of a liberal arts education. No major here will prepare me any better for the CIA than the ones i have selected now.

I have been doing pretty good lately. Still screw up like everyone else, too. Thursday, I hit a green in regulation and 3 putted from 10 feet. Few holes later, knocked down a par put from about 25 feet out. Golf is up and down and plain weird. Best thing I have going right now is my new driver. Wish I'd had this thing sooner.

Do you always get pissed off for no reason? Yup, looks like it. Congrats on having a degree in English and being the future director of the CIA. Now when North Korea makes fun of that degree you can send a hit squad over and take out Kim Jong Il or whatever the eff his name is.

CIA director is nothing more than a political post. Who you know, etc.

He is not going to be the director of the CIA, so looking up that stat is kind of meaningless. I was talking about an operative, and I think a foreign language major would be much more useful than English.

putting used to be my strong point when i was younger. now i am just average at it. i can usually two putt though.

no. i wasn't pissed, just asking you a question. again, i don't think you understand what a liberal arts education is. look up the offered majors at my school and tell me which one (outside of the sciences) would better prepare me to get a job in the CIA.

i don't need to major in a foreign language to know how to speak a language. i've already been told that i can probably get a job in the CIA if i continue on the path I am on. I'll trust the word of those who have told me that over yours any day of the week.

Depends on what you want to do. I can see it helpful both ways. Foreign language is always a plus. We're pretty as a whole (country) only speaking one language anyway. On the political forum, I assume you're talking about the terrorism thread. We are all terrorist. And, we are mostly all terra-rist.
