Question, since you have the experience. Back when we had PM's, could you send or receive a PM when you were banned? I always wondered that. Could you log in and read during that time?

Nope. It took away the whole box. You can log in, which helps get to posts you haven't read yet and such. The worst thing is when someone posts an attachment. You feel like you may be missing out on the most important thing ever.
