Most banks have a deposit box, usually right next to the main teller window.

My bank just lets me leave a deposit outside the door and call them the following morning to verify the cash made it into my account ok.

It's ironic that we have a bunch of people on a message board communicating via computer but don't trust a computer to do a cash deposit correctly.
