My parents generation created a lot of good music. Obviously, the times I grew up in created a butt load, too. There's been some good stuff created over the past 2-3 decades but, by and large, it's mostly garbage.

Side note-my parents fully accepted my music. My Dad threw my aunt, his sister, out of the house one day because she was getting on to me about the music I listened.
