VT, if you wanna solve your food stamp problem, just start smoking a lot of pot. at my workplace, many a high person came in and used government money to pay for their pizza.

Might want to check that out for yourself. I could see them adjusting the amount depending on how much is in the checking account.

We barely have any as is. They recently cut them even more because Dad hasn't had to pay as much for his medicine (sometimes he skips getting it if he has extra, until he needs it).

Hey VT, several months ago I recommended you get a disposable debit card. Wal-mart has a couple with very little fees.

I'm not gonna get into your family situation but my idea circumvents anything going on at home.

I actually got one of those once but it wouldn't let me buy books with it. I had to de-activate it and then they wouldn't even refund my money for it.

Agree. This is a viable end around to the checking account. You can add money to it whenever you want.

I don't know what kind if card you were using but the kind I'm referring to works just the same any any credit or account-based debit card.

I got $2,900 back this semester. I was planning on putting $1,000 of it in a checking account, $1,000 of it a savings account, and then having $900 to fix our roof and vehicles.
