If his dad has power of attorney he has all the say so he wants. Not saying it's right. Just saying.

I'm very familiar with healthcare HIPPA protocol, TEX. That might be that case but he didn't specifically say that.

Besides, what father does some vindictive shat to their kid like this?

Not much of a man, IMO.

When a family elder is ill, family drama should always be put aside.

Tex, you and I are in similar fields. I know you agree with me.

The wild-card is if VNB is the blacksheep of the fam and cries oncontrobably whe speaking to Gramps. Even then, he has every right to visit and express his love.

If VNB's presence disturbed his grand-dad, that's one thing. But if grandpa is of "sound mind", its for him to determine who's in the rooom.

I'll stand by my original post. Not going to get in a pissing match over it. There way too many details that are left out. And if your trying to one-up me on knowledge of HIPPA. I'll be glad to have any discussion with you on the matter.
