The best gator tail is like tenderloin, tender (no pun intended) and an okay flavor. It's like $11.99 a pound chicken, why pay that much for chicken? Again, except for THIS week!
Restaurants won't pay top dollar for the "good" stuff, even the good stuff is just okay. Gator tail is just a "conversational item". NJMOBF.
I know you use some expensive equipment but I get the job done with my UT Orange Abu-Garcia 6000 Series...

Thats not going to get the job done when you have to throw a crankbait diving 20 ft or throwing a 1oz football head jig. I'm demoing a $225 rod this weekend. Luckily I think I get it for like $140 with my discount, if I decide to buy it. Unfortunately that doesn't count the reel.
This place was a hole-in-the-wall bar in Perdido Keys. We went in there just because there's not much else to do besides going into Gulf Shores. I didn't expect the best, but I could barely chew it.
lulz ok well now answer me this is it a medium or medium hvy? Have fun casting it all day if it isnt a medium hvy.
