It's not so much a big deal with me, but it pisses me off they'd do this to people that it may be their only hope of attending a game.

I got an email asking to take a survey about my gameday experience. In return I would be entered in a drawing to win skybox seats and sideline passes. I took the survey, got to the end, clicked the box to enter into the contest, and was told that my computer would not support their default mail application.

So I just did this survey for you and now you cheat me out of a chance to win this contest?

Of course I hit previous a few times to get to a comment box and let them have it.

Default mail application? Like a school e mail? So, you'd have to be a student to be eligible, correct?

No, I think it means like the email thing when you try to email businesses. I can't come up with the name right now, maybe outlook? Anyways, having that installed was the only way to enter this drawing.

All the link does is open an email for you to send. You can do it manually. Send an email to neyland@tennessee.edu with the subject line "South Carolina Skybox Tickets"
In the message I don't think it matters what you put in, but I said I wanted to be entered into the drawing.

Okay, but it didn't come up for me. I only got a dialog box saying that my computer didn't support their email system.

Gotcha, think it's outlook express maybe? I think you have to pay a fee to use it though, there's certain things I can't do on the Roane State website because I don't have it.

I just think it was a really underhanded thing to do. You encourage participation, then just screw people out of a chance when they aren't using a computer that is compatible.

Truth, very annoying. Until I got a laptop for college, I had to use Dad's computer with Windows 95, nothing would work with it lol. I hated high school assignments where we had to use computers.

send the email using another mail client. like gmail or something

That's the thing. I have every email account there is. Gmail. Goldmail. Hotmail. Yahoo. As soon as I click the link this dialog box comes up. I think it is having to do with Microsoft Outlook, not on my end. I just don't have outlook in the lab or on my laptop.
