Me too! Always have. Dan Blocker (Hoss) was from Lubbock Texas. Their family owned a store down there in one of the suburbs. His son, Dirk Blocker is/was an actor also....really looks like his daddy. There is some useless information to help up my post count lol

Actually he is from a town south of here about 30-40 miles. O'Donnell, TX.

Dan Blocker (Dec 10, 1928 - May 13, 1972) was born Bobby Dan Blocker [5] in DeKalb in Bowie County, Texas. His parents Mary and Ora Blocker moved to O'Donnell shortly after his birth. He graduated from Sul Ross University and taught school in Sonora. He later served in the Army before moving to California and shooting to fame as Hoss Cartwright on the NBC television series Bonanza. A small museum in O'Donnell features limited Blocker memorabilia. He was also an active liberal Democrat.
 
Must have missed where I put up pics of it being totally destroyed the other day. It was an all brick mailbox.
My Dad was a high school principal for years and finally got tired of his mailbox being smashed, run over or blown up. So he had the shop class make one out of 1/4 steel mounted on a railroad rail. :eek:lol:
 
I just put a coat of paint on my mailbox the other day. Looks a lot better. Plus the numbers were fading.

I do have some drilling pipe that is 3/8 steel. My privacy fence is built on it out back. That shiz ain't coming down. Lulz

Bad thing is, they don't make the style of brick that it was made of, and which my house is built of. So he said he would get the closest thing to it. Hope it turns out ok.
