The Pacific was just done differently. I enjoyed it. If you remember the main character on there Sledgehammer?, the one that hung around Snafu, well look up the real guy, he wrote a great book about the events. I own a copy and one of the best and most telling first hand war stories I've ever read. It's called "With The Old Breed" by E.B. Sledge.

Yeah, I saw that he had a book. I'd like to read it sometime. I may download it to my E-reader if I can't find it in store.
