Mary Magdalene (and other women) discovered the stone moved and Jesus’ tomb empty. Mark relates that “a young man dressed in white” conveyed that Jesus would meet the disciples in Galilee. So the initial reaction to the discovery of the empty tomb was a mixture of confusion, concern, and excitement. When Jesus later appeared to the disciples, their surety in the resurrection was established and is reflected in the Gospels. Thus, Easter is a time for a deeper joy.

Easter, or Resurrection Sunday, should be at least as important and at least as celebrated by Christians as Christmas. Each has, in my opinion, equal weight in the gospel story. How much does anyone value the birth if the Resurrection does not happen as foretold in prophecy? It would just be assumed that Mary lied or Jesus wasn't who He claimed to be. Of course, without the birth, the Resurrection cannot happen.

So why does the women's b-ball coach at south carolina get a pass on her comments about geno? Had geno said that about her, he'd be fired.

You are going to have to post what was said. Everything I have heard from her on what happened was restrained and aiming to shut down the questions.

Meanwhile, Geno acts like a complete loon after losing, embarrassing his team and University along the way, and won’t get fired.

Staley said she would "beat his azz". It appears the intenet of the comment wasn't beating him on the court, but physically.

Oh the heat of the moment stuff. He made the postgame about him and his ego and put her on the defensive. No one’s getting fired for that. Hell, Chaney had time, did that publicly, and wasn’t fired.
