I read a Compilation of teachers’ laments and thought of you. With all that has recently happened in your life, the things described in that article could push you towards the edge.

Hopefully, your experiences aren’t so dire. Hopefully, you’re finding a groove above the drag.

tl;dr Yeah, I am doing okay. You'll know something's wrong if I stop giving errbody chit in herruh. I think being at school helps me more than anything else to have something "normal." The kids change, and that's always been part of this profession. COVID stunted them emotionally and socially as much as it did academically. Teacher morale seems to be pretty low in general. Social media's influence on a school day can be unbelievable, and there's not much of that the schools can control because it happens away from school and escalates.
